M-Tac Windblock Division Fleece Jacket is equally suitable for cool and cold weather. In mild conditions it can be used as an outer layer, and in colder weather – as an insulating layer under a jacket or parka.
Made of 100% polyester. The structure of the WindBlock membrane grid is designed for low and extremely low temperatures so that 80% of body heat is reflected inward, and only 20% (excess heat during active movement in low temperatures) escapes through the membrane grid.
Most modern membrane fabrics with a polyurethane surface coating are not intended for extremely low temperatures, because polyurethane becomes stiff in the cold, which leads to the fabric hardening as a whole. As a result, a characteristic “crackling” noise appears when moving.
In WindBlock thermal fabric, the membrane is protected not by a polyurethane coating, but by a dense polyester-structured fleece (inside and outside the membrane), which protects it from low temperatures, abrasion (both inside and outside) and creates an additional insulating air layer. Such a three–layer membrane structure completely eliminates the “crackling” effect.
Features reinforced nylon elbow patches.
Fastens with a zipper and is equipped with multiple pockets.
The sleeves have Velcro panels for attaching ID patches.
A rear cargo pocket is located on the back, allowing you to carry gloves and other small items.
